Car Wash

I vaguely remember having a lemonade stand once when I was a kid.  It was not a great success since the street I lived on was not a very busy one.  However, I have many memories of organizing backyard carnivals to raise money for muscular dystrophy.  Advertising with posters stapled to telephone poles was key to marketing the event.  It never occurred to me to have a car wash.

The kids, I mean young entrepreneurs, in our neighborhood had a full service car wash operation in action yesterday.

The attention to detail was amazing.

I particularly enjoyed the range of car wash fashion footwear.  John has boots like Ryan’s.

I don’t think he has a pair of daisy flip flops like Bianka’s.
I think some of the jobs are easier when you are not much taller than the wheels.
The full service wash was complete with lemonade … and cookies…
and smiles.

Although a lot of the smiles were mine.

live. enjoy. repeat.
