Time For Artwork

With the kitchen walls now painted, Dan and I decided it was time to hang a couple of favourite items that hung in the pre-Destruction kitchen.

Our red Telechron Minit Master wall clock came from the Brimfield Antique Fair.

It was given to Dan as a birthday present by our friends Moe and Steve.

Our “FOOD, LOVE, MONEY” mixed media art piece was a street find.

We decided both pieces would benefit from a thorough clean before rehanging.

I had the Telechron apart in no time…

and worked with Fairy Liquid during the cleansing process.

I was very pleased with the results.

Dan was responsible for artwork restoration. He cleaned a year’s worth of dust, and added a hanging wire.

As a designer with great vision, Dan knew a long time ago where the clock would be best positioned. The recessed outlet that he specified in his drawings provided a big hint that I quickly latched on to.

Dan also envisioned the artwork on the wall next to the clock…
