First Day of Spring

A highlight of my day was hearing the birds twittering like crazy when I awoke at 6:15 this morning; the least preferred part was realizing I had travelled 30 minutes in the wrong direction on the subway after work this evening.

I’m not exactly sure how that happened. My excuse is that it had something to do with the frequently changing entrance and exit configurations around The World Trade Center site. Oh well, it was a beautiful day in Queens.

At home we marked the arrival of spring by picking a daffodil from the garden and placing it on the bathroom shelf that was cleverly designed by Dan to hold a small vase.

It’s a simple touch, but we never cease to be amazed at how much pleasure a single flower can bring and how it transforms the feel of our bathroom.

live. enjoy. repeat.
