When the Waverly fabric for our new custom duvet cover arrived, Jack did not seem surprised by how much there was.
He had already calculated it would take about 15 yards of fabric to make a king sized duvet cover (to fit his favorite bed).
However, when he realized that we were serious about him having to sew the duvet cover himself, Jack seemed a little worried.
John reminded Jack of the agreement — Dan and John would buy the fabric of his choice, if he would make it into a duvet cover… remember?
After his attempts to renegotiate failed, Jack was prepared to get started (he actually couldn’t wait to get his paws on the project).
Taking pride in his work, the duvet cover was completed in no time.
The end result is very satisfying…
especially on April Fool’s day.
(Jack would like to add that he had some help from a seamstress we sourced on Etsy)
live. enjoy. repeat.
nice one – the posting & the duvet cover & Jack
PS and the sewing machine
I would have believed you Jack!!! You clever hound.
what nimble paws he must have….
This is so cute! Good thing that isn’t a treadle machine, Jack could never reach the treadle! Love it! Love Jack and both of you!
